Escaped prisoners caught along Bihar, UP borders
Patna, Sept. 11 -- The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) arrested 30 escaped undertrials from Nepal, following a massive jailbreak in the neighbouring country, while attempting to cross over to Indian territory through the porous border in Bihar's Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Araria, East Champaran and West Champaran, officials said. All escapees were arrested in a coordinative drive from Tuesday night till late on Wednesday.
SSB officials said that while the identities of 10 prisoners were confirmed, they were investigating others.
