New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- A day after seven incumbent legislators in the Delhi assembly announced that they have quit the AAP, the leaders on Saturday switched over to the BJP. They were joined by another AAP MLA - who had announced his resignation from the House, but not from the party - as well as three other senior leaders.
All 11 were overlooked by the AAP for the upcoming polls.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said the new joinees "were deeply hurt" to see that tickets were not given dedicated workers but "were instead sold to the highest bidders".
Meanwhile, the AAP said that some leaders were denied tickets, "leading to dissatisfaction".
