India, May 19 -- Eight persons, including three women and a child, were killed in a massive fire at a factory in Maharashtra's Solapur district on Sunday, officials said. They said a short circuit is suspected to have triggered the blaze at around 3.45am at Central Textile Mills situated on the Akkalkot Road in Solapur MIDC. The deceased include the factory owner, three members of his family and four workers.htc
