New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned cricketer Suresh Raina on Wednesday in connection with an ongoing money laundering probe into several illegal online betting platforms, people familiar with the development said on Tuesday. These platforms allegedly use surrogate advertisements and collect funds from users. An officer, who didn't want to be named, said Raina's statement will be recorded under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The cricketer has been asked to appear at 11am at ED headquarters in Delhi, the officer said.
