New Delhi, March 11 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday raided several premises in Chhattisgarh including that of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, in its money laundering probe related to irregularities in state's liquor industry, people familiar with the development said. The former CM is being investigated in the case. Officials said 14 locations were raided in the state.
ED officials said Chaitanya Baghel allegedly received proceeds of crime in the liquor contracts. "...of the proceeds of crime worth Rs.2,161 crore, Chaitanya was one of the recipients," said an officer, adding Chaitanya is likely to be summoned.P10
