ED grills Yes Bank's co-founder Kapoor in Reliance Group case
New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday questioned Yes Bank co-founder and former chief executive officer (CEO) Rana Kapoor in connection with its probe against companies linked to the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group, people familiar with the development said.
The agency called Kapoor for questioning at its Delhi headquarters, where his statement was recorded under the prevention of money laundering act or PMLA.
"While Rana Kapoor was at the helm of Yes Bank, the bank had significant exposure of about Rs.6,000 crore to Reliance Anil Ambani Group (ADAG Group) as on March 31, 2017 and exposure doubled to Rs.13,000 Crore as on March 31, 2018.
