New Delhi, April 16 -- Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) president Raunak Khatri on Tuesday smeared cow dung on the Lakshmibai College principal's office wall in protest, days after the principal was seen applying cow dung on the walls of a college classroom as a measure to alleviate heat stress in a video.
According to principal, the smearing of walls was a part of a faculty-led project titled "Study of Heat Stress Control by Using Traditional Indian Knowledge".
DUSU president Raunak Khatri, sharing a video of smearing cow dung on his X handle, said the principal left college 15 minutes before he reached. "How could they apply cow dung to a classroom without students' permission," he said in his social media post.
