New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), on Wednesday, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to integrate and analyse six pollution control portals using artificial intelligence and data analytics for real-time air quality management. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa called the central-state partnership a "game-changer," enabling predictive smog forecasting, hotspot mapping and real-time alerts for enforcement. The initiative will integrate satellite, traffic and sensor data for hyperlocal insights. Officials said upgraded dashboards and citizen-facing portals will strengthen transparency for a cleaner Delhi.
