Bokaro, March 11 -- A 28-year-old doctor died allegedly by suicide at her hostel at Bokaro in Jharkhand, police on Monday said, adding preliminary probe suggested she was not satisfied with her chosen field.
Bokaro city DSP Alok Ranjan said, "The deceased was a first-year student enrolled in Diplomate of National Board course and joined the gynaecology department at Bokaro General Hospital. A suicide note has been recovered from her room where she expressed dissatisfaction over her career." He added: "The incident came to light when she did not open the door of her hostel room, following which the others broke open the door." htc
