Bengaluru, May 28 -- The state government would initiate legal proceedings against BJP MLC N Ravikumar for his "communal and derogatory" remark against Kalaburagi deputy commissioner Fouzia Taranum, questioning whether she was from Pakistan, deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar said on Tuesday.
