Mumbai, March 23 -- Satish Salian, father of the deceased celebrity PR manager Disha Salian, wrote to the senior inspector of the Malvani police on Saturday seeking documents that were part of the investigation into his daughter's death.
The letter came a day after he filed a petition in the Bombay high court on Friday for a fresh investigation into the circumstances of Disha's death. HT has seen a copy of the letter.
Disha was found dead after she allegedly fell from a high-rise in Malad on June 8, 2020. Her father, however, has alleged she was gang-raped and murdered, and an elaborate plan was hatched by police and political figures to hush up the case.
