Srinagar, April 25 -- An all-party meeting convened by Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday unanimously condemned the Pahalgam attack, terming it a direct assault on the values of Kashmiriyat and the idea of India. They also extended support to the measures taken by Centre after the attack.

The meeting in Srinagar was attended by almost all the major political parties, including Opposition BJP and PDP.

"We unequivocally condemn the heinous, inhumane attack in Pahalgam. Such cowardly acts of brutality are a direct assault on the values of Kashmiriyat, and the idea of India, the resolution said. htc
