India, Sept. 23 -- The Walt Disney Company, which owns ABC, announced on Monday that they are reinstating 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' after a week-long suspension. ABC decided to suspend the late-night show host after his comments on the death of Charlie Kirk were deemed "insensitive and ill-timed," per the statement released Monday."

"Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country," he statement said. "It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive."
