India, Sept. 13 -- Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot dead after a security expert warned him that speaking on college campuses has a "100%"possibility of being assassinated.

Kirk, a key supporter of President Donald Trump and co-founder of the conservative group Turning Point USA, was shot and killed by a single bullet during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University.

This incident takes place in the context of an increasing number of attacks in the US against political personalities from a variety of ideological backgrounds.
