Dehradun, July 11 -- Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday announced a statewide campaign - Operation Kalanemi - to crack down on people impersonating saints, religious leaders and ascetics to dupe the public, officials aware of the development said. The directive came in the wake of the rising number incidents in which people, especially women, have been cheated by impersonators under the guise of religious leaders, they added.
