New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- A 40-year-old labourer died and his 29-year-old friend was injured after they were assaulted for demanding wages in the Trilokpuri area of east Delhi, police officers aware of the matter said on Sunday, adding that three people, including a contractor, have been arrested.
The contractor, along with two of his associates, thrashed the victim and his friend on Thursday when they had gone to his house to ask for pending payment. The deceased, Mahesh Ram, and his friend Rohit Baleshwar lived in Indira Camp in Trilokpuri. P6
