India, Oct. 18 -- Delhi on Saturday witnessed a heavy rush, with major intersections seeing traffic congestion on Dhanteras. Several prominent areas of the capital and its bordering cities saw congestion amid festive rush.
Visuals from Kashmere Gate, Karol Bagh, Ring Road and other key areas showed massive traffic snarls as shoppers thronged markets ahead of Diwali, just two days before the festival.
The New Delhi railway station also saw a heavy rush as around 75,000 passengers and their families boarded trains to return home for Diwali.
