India, Dec. 18 -- Electric and CNG vehicles will continue to be allowed to operate in Delhi despite the stricter pollution-related vehicle curbs introduced alongside Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). The Delhi government recently announced additional restrictions on vehicle movement and entry into the national capital, even though GRAP Stage IV was already in force due to deteriorating air quality.
Under the current rules, electric and CNG vehicles are permitted to operate within Delhi without restrictions. This applies to both private and commercial vehicles and covers those registered in Delhi as well as vehicles registered outside the city.
