India, May 17 -- Strong winds and dust storm swept parts of Delhi and adjoining cities such as Uttar Pradesh's Noida and Ghaziabad on Saturday afternoon, a day after similar weather was experienced in the areas.
In parts of Noida, trees were uprooted and fell on vehicles after heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds on Saturday. The Rapid Rail Metro Ashok Nagar station shed was also damaged by strong winds accompanied by rain.
A traffic light pole also fell amid heavy rainfall accompanied by wind in Noida's DM Chowk.
In Delhi's Connaught Place as well, a tree uprooted and fell on vehicles near PVR: Plaza-CP following heavy thunderstorms and rain on Saturday.
