India, June 27 -- In what appears to be a fallout of the ongoing rivalry between two gangsters, a man was shot dead in Delhi's Bawana area when he was on a morning walk with his daughter.

The victim, identified as 43-year-old Dipak, was the nephew of a jailed gangster named Manjeet Mahal, who was in a long-standing rivalry with UK-based fugitive gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu.

According to Deputy commissioner of Police (outer-north) Hareshwar V Swami, there are reasons to believe that Kapil Sangwan orchestrated the killing.
