Delhi HC warns patanjali over 'useless appeal'
New Delhi, Sept. 20 -- The Delhi high court on Friday slammed Patanjali for appealing against single judge's interim ruling which restrained the company from running advertisements against Dabur's Chyawanprash.
A division bench of the justices C Hari Shankar and Om Prakash Shukla said that there was no valid reason to interfere with the same, and warned the company of imposing costs if it found it to be "luxury litigation and a useless appeal". The bench noted justice Mini Pushkarna had not directed Patanjali to take down the entire ad but only ordered modification of certain portions.
