Delhi HC transfers 135 judicial officers in major reshuffle
New Delhi, May 31 -- The Delhi high court on Friday issued an order transferring 135 judicial officers, in a major rejig within the district judiciary of the national Capital, including such officers who are presiding over Delhi riots cases and other sensitive crime cases of the city.
The order issued by the high court on May 30 gives out the complete list of the 135 transfers. It includes Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sameer Bajpai, who has been presiding over the Delhi riots larger conspiracy case where a total of 18 accused, including student activists Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam, are booked under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He has been shifted from the court at Karkardooma complex to the Saket court complex....
