delhi HC to hear today pleas on disclosure of Modi's degree
New Delhi, Nov. 12 -- A division bench of the Delhi high court is set to hear on Wednesday appeals challenging its decision to overturn the Central Information Commission (CIC)'s directive requiring Delhi University to disclose Prime Minister Narendra Modi's academic records.
The four appeals against the single judge's August 25 decision will be heard by a bench of chief justice DK Upadhyay and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela. The appeals have been filed by advocate RTI activist Neeraj Kumar, Delhi-based lawyer Mohd Irshad, who has appeared for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in various cases before the high court and Supreme Court, and parliamentarian Sanjay Singh.
