New Delhi, Oct. 23 -- The Delhi high court has closed a 25-year-old trademark infringement dispute between confectionery giants Mars and Cadbury over the use of the word "Celebrations", further directing the two companies to distribute their respective assortments, including chocolates and cookies to children studying in government and government-aided schools across the national capital to mark the occasion. The order was passed by Justice Sanjeev Narula on October 10, while dealing with a joint application filed by the companies, urging the court to close the lawsuit originally instituted in 2000, following a mutual settlement between the two on July 2 this year.
