New Delhi, April 27 -- The Delhi high court on Saturday refused to entertain a petition filed by a Pakistani woman seeking a direction against the Centre not to suspend her residential permit.

In a special sitting, a bench of justice Sachin Datta was not inclined to issue directions to the Centre, holding that the union government's decision to revoke all visas issued to Pakistani citizens was taken due to serious national security concerns and it is not possible for the court to carve out an exception for any Pakistani national.
