India, July 17 -- The Delhi High Court on Thursday quashed 16 criminal cases against 70 Indian nationals who were accused of hosting foreign participants during the controversial Tablighi Jamaat congregation at the height of the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.
The court passed the judgment on 16 petitions relating to 70 Indians, who were represented by advocate Ashima Mandla, seeking quashing of FIRs registered against them, PTI reported.
A detailed verdict is awaited.
