New Delhi, Dec. 13 -- Chief minister Rekha Gupta on Friday handed over appointment letters to 36 dependants of the families affected in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The recruits have been appointed as Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) across various departments of the Delhi government. Gupta said: "These are not merely jobs, but a formal recognition of the dignity, rights, and identity of thousands of families who have been waiting for justice and respect for four decades. This step is a testament to the Delhi government's sensitivity and accountability," Gupta said.
