India, July 16 -- An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa made an emergency landing in Mumbai on Tuesday night after facing an engine issue mid-air, Mumbai airport officials aware of the matter said.

The aircraft, operating as flight 6E 6271, safely landed at 9:53 pm IST. There were 191 people on board.

The Airbus A320neo aircraft, with registration VT-IZB, was flying from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) to Goa Airport when the incident occurred.
