India, March 26 -- As chief minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday presented her maiden budget in the legislative assembly for a "viksit" (developed) Delhi, the opposition Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress criticised it for laying out "fake numbers" and making "hollow promises" while missing to include provisions to provide subsidised LPG cylinders to the poor as promised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the assembly polls in February.
In a press conference convened in the Delhi Assembly post-budget presentation, leader of opposition Atishi alleged the Rs.1 lakh crore budget lacked any "economic foundation".
