New Delhi, Dec. 25 -- Delhi BJP organised a Deepotsav on Wednesday celebrating the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at its new headquarter on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Marg by lighting 101 lamps.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said the former PM's popularity surpassed all political and ideological divides. "Members of other parties and ideologies would also come to listen to his speech," he added.
Celebrations also took place at 14 district offices across Delhi. Delhi Public Work Department Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh said Atal Bihari Vajpayee considered politics and power as a means for the upliftment of society.
