India, June 15 -- Two e-rickshaw drivers beat a 30-year-old fellow driver to death at the Dwarka Sector 10 metro station, angered by what they perceived as him taking more than his fair share of passengers and depriving them of fares, police said, adding that one of the accused was detained for questioning on Saturday.

The victim, Dharmender Yadav, was a resident of Goyla Dairy in south-west Delhi. The accused were reportedly friends with the victim, said police. The incident took place between 9 and 10pm on Monday when Yadav and other e-rickshaw drivers were waiting for passengers outside the metro station.
