NEW DELHI, April 2 -- India's defence exports touched a record high of Rs.23,622 crore in the financial year 2024-25 on the back of policy initiatives and reforms, a growth of 12.04% over the previous financial year, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday, adding that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country is marching towards achieving the Rs.50,000-crore exports target by 2029.

The defence exports figures stood at Rs.21,083 crore in financial year 2023-24.
