NEW DELHI, Feb. 10 -- A day after its drubbing in the Delhi assembly elections, AAP officials on Sunday said the party was ready for a "course correction", and will act as a "responsible opposition", ensuring that the BJP fulfils its election promises, including monthly financial assistance to women and the continuation of key public welfare schemes.

Party functionaries said that AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal met the newly elected legislators. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Delhi caretaker CM Atishi said: "People have placed their trust in the AAP by electing 22 MLAs. It is now the party's responsibility to serve them and resolve their issues." P4
