Shimla, Oct. 15 -- The chairperson of the Himachal Pradesh Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission, Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman, has expressed displeasure about the functioning of Shimla police.

Dhiman, along with other members of the commission, had visited the Police Headquarters, Shimla, to discuss the case of death by suicide of a 12-year-old boy belonging to Scheduled Caste.

A 12-year-old allegedly died by suicide by consuming poison after he was reportedly locked inside a cowshed by some "upper caste" women for entering their house at a village in Shimla district.
