India, Nov. 13 -- The Thane sessions court on Wednesday deferred its order on the anticipatory bail pleas of two accused Central Railway (CR) engineers in connection with the June 9 Mumbra train accident, in which five commuters lost their lives and several others were injured. Additional sessions judge GT Pawar is likely to pronounce the verdict on Thursday.

The accused-assistant divisional engineer Vishal Dolas and senior section engineer Samar Yadav-were booked on November 1 by the Thane Government Railway Police (GRP) under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 125(a)(b) (acts endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
