India, July 15 -- The Karnataka high court has directed the state government to make public its status report on the June 4 stampede at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru that killed 11 people. It rejected the state's plea to keep the report under wraps, underlining the case involved no grounds such as "national security, privacy, or overriding public interest" which could justify the secrecy being insisted upon.
