Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- The State Investigative Agency of Jammu & Kashmir police on Tuesday raided eight locations in Srinagar district as it reopened the probe into the murder of a Kashmiri Pandit woman 35 years ago during the outbreak of militancy. The case pertains to the brutal murder of a nurse, Sarla Bhat, who went missing from her hostel at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences at Soura in April 1990 and was found dead in Srinagar. The raids were conducted at the residences of several people who were formerly associated with the banned JKLF. P10
