cops: Rashtrapati Bhawan staffer duped of Rs.25l in 'SIM swap scam'
New Delhi, May 23 -- A 60-year-old man working as the chief household attendant at Rashtrapati Bhawan has allegedly been cheated by unidentified scammers who siphoned off lakhs of rupees from his and his wife's bank accounts. Police said the elderly couple claimed they never received any OTPs, nor do they take calls or messages from unknown sources. They do not use UPI or internet banking either, police said.
