Chandigarh, Aug. 13 -- The Congress, after a gap of 11 years, on Tuesday appointed district Congress committee (DCC) presidents in Haryana. The appointments were approved by party president, Mallikarjun Kharge following detailed reviews conducted by All India Congress Committee (AICC) observers who engaged with party functionaries and stakeholders before submitting reports to the party high command.
A number of loyalists and supporters of former chief minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Sirsa MP, Kumari Selja have made it to the DCC. As per a press release signed by AICC general secretary, KC.
