Ahmedabad, April 9 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday announced that the party has come to Gujarat to get "inspiration and strength" and said that the party will take Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's legacy forward, as he attempted to reconnect the Congress with Gujarat, the Bharatiya Janata Party's strongest bastion, dispelling the ruling party's narrative of friction between Patel and Jawaharlal Nehru.
