Kochi, June 12 -- Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter, Veena T, has told the Kerala high court that the transactions between her now-defunct firm Exalogic Solutions and minerals manufacturer Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) were "transparent" and based on a formal contract drawn between the two firms. Veena's affidavit came in response to a PIL filed by journalist MR Ajayan that sought a CBI inquiry into the transactions, alleging that the CM received kickbacks from CMRL.
