Bengaluru, Sept. 21 -- Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday announced that the controversial "Christian" nomenclature in the state's caste survey has been removed. "It (reference to Christians) has been removed now. It is not me who has removed it," Siddaramiah told reporters in Gadag district of Karnataka. "The Backward Class Commission is a statutory body. We cannot interfere in it. We have given guidelines, and they are following it."
