Lucknow, March 29 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath met the special needs children of a rehabilitation centre at Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan Combined Hospital in Lucknow on Friday after four children died and several others fell ill, possibly after drinking contaminated water, officials said.
The chief minister, who was accompanied by senior officials and doctors, interacted with the children. He also took stock of their condition and directed the doctors to ensure the best possible treatment. The chief minister took a full report from medical superintendent Dr AS Tripathi, who said that the children are under supervision and they are currently stable. "Leave no room for negligence," Adityanath said.
