CM Adityanath to attend Ayodhya temple's 2nd consecration ceremony
LUCKNOW, June 2 -- For Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, his 53rd birthday on June 5 comes on a special day this year, coinciding with the pran pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Darbar (depicting the royal court of Lord Ram) on the first floor of the grand temple in Ayodhya.
People familiar with the matter said the three-day grand celebrations will begin on June 3 and the final ceremony on June 5 will see Adityanath in attendance as the chief guest. The ceremony will fall on the same day as the Ganga Dussehra, which mythologically marks the descent of the sacred Ganga river from heaven to Earth.
