India, Dec. 28 -- An FIR has been registered against six individuals after a 25-year-old woman alleged that a piece of surgical cloth was found in her abdomen nearly a year-and-a-half after she underwent a caesarean delivery surgery at a private hospital in Greater Noida in 2023, police said on Saturday.

Police said the FIR was registered on December 24 at Knowledge Park police station based on the woman's complaint, and an investigation is underway.
