India, Jan. 14 -- A hospital night shift meant for saving lives has turned into a viral outrage across China.

According to a report by the South China Morning Post, a nurse in eastern China has been suspended from her job after images showed her boyfriend helping with medical tasks during her night shifts.

The images, shared on social media, quickly went viral and triggered serious concerns about patient safety.

The nurse worked at Singde Brain Blood Vessel Hospital, a privately run medical facility in Qingdao, Shandong province. Images first appeared online on January 2 and were widely shared within hours.

The videos showed the nurse's boyfriend inside the hospital during night duty hours.
