New Delhi, May 15 -- India temporarily blocked several foreign media accounts on social media platform X amid a crackdown on what officials described as "anti-India content" following Operation Sindoor.
The X accounts of Turkish broadcaster TRT World and Chinese state-run tabloid Global Times were blocked for several hours before eventually being restored on Tuesday evening. However, China's official Xinhua news agency remained blocked till the time of going to print.
The blocking comes amid heightened acrimony between those backing India and those supporting Pakistan. P13
