New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- Despite a sharp dip in temperature, Delhi continues to report fresh dengue cases, with 63 new infections recorded last week, taking the city's total count this year to 1,199 till Monday, according to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The latest vector-borne disease report said 26 malaria and nine chikungunya cases were also logged last week, bringing the cumulative tallies to 649 and 142, respectively. Delhi has confirmed two dengue deaths so far, while 13 more suspected deaths are under review by the MCD's death audit committee.
