Chandigarh, June 3 -- Another senior citizen from Sector 10-A, Chandigarh, has fallen victim to a sophisticated digital arrest scam, losing nearly Rs.2.5 crore after scammers posed as top officials from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Supreme Court.

In April, 82-year-old Colonel Dalip Singh Bajwa (retd) was duped of Rs.3.41 crore by scammers posing as Enforcement Directorate officials.
