Chandigarh, Nov. 12 -- The city's minimum temperature continued its downward trajectory going from 10.2degC on Monday to 9.4degC on Tuesday. This is the lowest that the minimum temperature has gone this season and the first time that it has dropped below 10degC. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature will slide further in the coming days.
At 9.4degC, the minimum temperature was 3.9degC below normal and colder than Kasauli, which recorded 11.1degC. Shimla, meanwhile, recorded a minimum of 8.4degC. Last November, the lowest that the minimum temperature went was 8.7degC on November 29.
